Target beneficiary in GIMs -500 : Actual 1859 Other project partners attended first 2 GIMs to learn from Rajasthan experience CUTS received ‘India Power Award’ for its grassroots community impact One partner awarded by the District Collector

7 LIMITATIONS Some delay due to dependence on local partners
Few Local partners lack of experience of dealing technical issues Some local partners finding little difficult to reach to local utilities

8 OPPORTUNITIES Indication of RERC to be further involved
Demand from Local CSOs to undertake activities Establishment of a consumer cell at local level Enabling environment to ensure success of project’s future activities and paving way for its replication More consumer representation in regulatory process More consumer friendly regulations and decisions

9 THREATS Few of the local partners are developing an unfriendly relation with the utilities Some of partners focusing only on quantitative output rather than qualitative Participants focusing on their personal problems and directly initiating discussions with utility officials in GIMs. Slackness and callous approach of few of the partners

10 STRENGTHS Rich experience of working in the sector over a decade
Strong networking all over the state/districts Established contacts with utilities, regulators., local legislators, media, etc Active involvement of the RG Members Capable and experienced team members Continuous support from implementing organisation Good infrastructural facilities Active support of Local CSOs, media, etc
