What is geography? Geography is the study of the physical and human characteristics of the earth – in other words, the study of the Earth and man’s interaction with the Earth

Characteristics Physical Human
Physical characteristics = things that occur in nature, such as mountains, rivers, climate. Human characteristics = pertaining to man, such as canals, bridges, and buildings. Human characteristics also include language, population, etc.

Absolute Location Absolute location is the longitude and latitude of a site
