Experiential Learning is one of the hallmarks of a Pacific education The Geosciences Department provides this in multiple ways: Field-based curriculum Internships Undergraduate Research

Field-based Curriculum
All courses involve field work All upper level courses involve at least one multi-day field experience Field trips involve problem-based learning Students are involved in planning the trips

Internships Formal (students register for credit)
