12 Role Play #1 (beginner) ***Two students are playing in the park Student A: Hello Susan! Student B: Hello Anthony. How are you today? Student A: I’m well. Are you ready to play soccer? Student B: Yes! I cannot wait.

13 Role Play #1 (beginner) ***Two students start playing soccer. Student A: Wow Anthony, you are very athletic. Student B: Try to block the ball when I kick it to you. Student A: Oh no! You hit me in the face! Student B: My bad.

14 Role Play #2 (intermediate)
Student A: You are sick. You call the doctor’s office to schedule an appointment. You are free any time tomorrow afternoon. Student B: You work at a doctor’s office. You answer the phone, and tell the person that the first day available is December 3rd.

15 Role Play #2 (intermediate)
Student A: You are very angry that you cannot have an appointment tomorrow afternoon. You ask to speak to their boss. Student B: You explain that your boss is busy right now. You hang up on the client.

16 Role Play #3 (advanced) Student A: You are a teacher, calling a parent to report their student’s misbehavior. Student B: You are the parent.
