Load is distributed evenly over both sides

Suspension Bridge & Cable-Stayed Bridge
Have longest spans Use cables to suspend load Rope bridge to Golden Gate bridge Cable-Stayed Bridge Use cables in load distribution. Cables run diagonally from the towers to the girder.
