3 Market place – Factors affecting academic achievement
Stage 1 – Preparation. Each group reads resource material and converts it into a poster Stage 2 – Market. Stall holder stays with poster, to explain poster to visiting researchers. Researchers go to find other information and make notes. Stage 3 – Teaching. The researchers teach the stallholder and the others what they have found out Stage 4 – Quiz. 11 Each of you has been given a factor that may affect educational success. On the back of your card, write a paragraph explaining why and how that particular factor can affect academic achievement

12 Discuss how far sociologists would agree that _____________ affects academic achievement
Find two people with different factors to your own. Decide which of your factors is the strongest argument. Rewrite the exam question above to include your factor. Add a short introduction and a conclusion to create a 12 mark answer (as well as phrases to link paragraphs) TIF: can you add any more keywords, evidence, data or studies to make this an A/A* answer?
