Generator updates their component registry and electronically transmits the shipment to DLA Small Arms Serialization Program (SASP) Component Registry SHIP TRANS 2 1
Generator will contact DLA Disposition Services Central Demil Division (CDD) Anniston, AL (DODAAC SYD184) 1
Generator ships the small arm with IRRD, LOA, Inert Cert, and List of Serial Numbers (if Multiple weapons) to the CDD 3
REUT/FMS/DESTROY
CDD physically inspects weapon to sight verify serial number matches IRRD.
The small arm weapon(s) is accepted at the CDD and the Turn-in process is complete 4
