Now musing about interfederation and federation on a wider administrative boundary (governmental), since there are numerous collaborative programs in Texas that span university systems

3. FBCA Cross-Certification
Began cross-certification work 12/2006
Due to our PKI structure (VeriSign), each institution will cross-certify separately, but all based on common policies (System Administration going first)
Created addendum to federation Member Operating Practices document to supplement VeriSign CP/CPS (mainly registration and credentialing aspects)
Currently doing a trial mapping to see what improvements to policy are appropriate
