4. Main findings Timeliness of expenditure data should be improved
Burden on data provider should be streamlined – by stopping the collection of data not used
UOE methodology should be updated and aligned with ESA 10

More data should be made available on the components of the expenditure (e.g., teacher salaries)
Improve the analysis of education expenditure by taking into account better the different price levels
