1. Cyclone Impact
A scientist wants to study the atmospheric and oceanic conditions associated with Cyclone Nargis. This cyclone was originated in the Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean, in late April 2008 and made landfall in Myanmar on May 2. There is a need to assess the magnitude of the sea level anomaly caused by the storm surge, the significant wind wave heights during the event, and impacts on ocean turbidity approximated by ocean color.
