1. Jesus Is Lord
The Bible knows nothing of Jesus being merely Savior without being Lord.

2. There Is A Cost
Luke 14:  "Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. 28  "For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it? 29  "Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation, and is not able to finish, all who observe it begin to ridicule him, 30  saying, 'This man began to build and was not able to finish.'

3. I Don’t Live For Myself
Romans 14:  For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; 8  for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord's. 9  For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

4. He Owns Me
1 Corinthians 6:  Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20  For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

5. Confess Jesus Lord
Romans 10:   that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; 10  for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

6. Why Call Me Lord, Lord?
Luke 6:  "And why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? 47  " Everyone who comes to Me, and hears My words, and acts upon them, I will show you whom he is like: 48  he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood rose, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.

7. Humility
John 13:  "You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am. 14  "If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15  "For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you. 16  "Truly, truly, I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master; neither is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him.

8. Who Are You, What Shall I do Lord?
Acts 22:  and I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?' 8  "And I answered, 'Who are You, Lord?' And He said to me, 'I am Jesus the Nazarene, whom you are persecuting.' 9  "And those who were with me saw the light, to be sure, but did not understand the voice of the One who was speaking to me. 10  "And I said, 'What shall I do, Lord?' And the Lord said to me, 'Get up and go on into Damascus, and there you will be told of all that has been appointed for you to do.'

9. It Is Hard To Resist
Acts 26:  "And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew dialect, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.' 15  "And I said, 'Who are You, Lord?' And the Lord said, 'I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.

10. Just Saying It Is Not Enough
Matthew 7:  " Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. 22  " Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23  "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

11. Lordship Is Liberty!
2 Corinthians 3:  But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; 16   but whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17  Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18  But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

12. Gateway To Authority
Matthew 8:  And He said to him, "I will come and heal him." 8  But the centurion answered and said, " Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9  "For I, too, am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes, and to another, 'Come!' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."

13. Every Knee Shall Bow
Philippians 2:  that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, 11  and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
