2 Umm…Keller, I’m pretty sure I already know how to watch a film
Yes you do, but I’m trying to teach you to watch it more critically. In order to do that, for a couple days this week you’ll be taking notes (starting on page 15 and moving on to the subsequent pages for each new film) while we watch the beginning of two or three films.

3 The Process For each of the films, take three column notes focused on the following: Column 1: Observations on characters and plot Column 2: Observations on camera techniques Column 3: Observations on music, editing, etc… Below the chart: Any other thoughts and questions
