Session 1 Basic Confidence through Communication: Social anxiety and low confidence. How we can communicate effectively with confidence. Taking a sideways step out of our comfort zones
Session 2 Exploring your skills and qualities: How to become more assertive, what makes a good team at work ?
Session 3 Employability tool kit: All the tools and skills you will need to look for employment; CVs, applications, speculative letters etc.
Session 6 Types of Interviews.: What to expect; telephone, group, panel etc. Experience a group interview and explore interview questions. psychometric tests, maths , English, comprehension. Customer service exercise.
Session 7 Mock interview: Attend interview in full interview conditions. Receive feedback on how you performed. :
Session 8 Starting work: What to expect when you start work. Workplace do’s and don’ts.
Pay slips, tax codes, P60 P45, holiday entitlement, phoning in sick, back to work interviews. Performance reviews , probationary periods, promotion. Dealing with stress at work.
Session 4 Turning the tables: Explore what it is like to be an employer. Have a go at hiring an employee. Essential and desirable qualities employers look for.
Session 5 Confidence at Interview: Interview pointers, getting yourself ready for interview, dress codes , body language , social behaviour. Techniques and how to deal with anxiety levels prior to interview.
