2. Russian Swedish Cooperation in Forestry
In November 2007, a memorandum of understanding and a strategy of Russian-Swedish cooperation in the forest sector , were signed between FFA and SFA
In November 2008 the future cooperation (RSFSCP-II, ) was discussed among Russian and Swedish organizations in Moscow

3. Russian-Swedish Forest Sector Cooperation Programme, phase II 2009-2012 Four Working Groups:
Monitoring of forest resources for exercise of public authority, including illegal logging
Head of WG: Alexey Ermolenko, Head of Protection and Reforestation Department, FFA; Ulf Söderberg, PhD, Docent, Department of Forest Management, SLU
Sustainable forest management and multiple forest use, including the model forest concept
Head of WG: Aleksandr Martynyuk, Deputy Director of All-Russian Forestry Research Institute; Per Hazell, Manager of Russian-Swedish Cooperation Programme phase I, SFA
