Crisp & Clean A door-to-door dry cleaning and laundry franchise

What are the perforated Tags? What do you think they are used for?
Why are they so important?
3
What are tags and how do they work
Tags are a form of Identification . The tags bear identification data for associating an item of Dry Cleaning/Laundry back to the corresponding Order ID . Thus making it easier to divide the clothing and follow the garments prescribed washing methods i.e.: Whites, Colours , without items getting lost. Tags are the single most important administration tool in any Laundrette and Dry Cleaning operation. Without them corresponding back to the Order ID there is no way of keeping track of which item belongs to a customer.

What are tags and how do they work
Each franchisee will be given tags that correspond to their area , Example : Crisp and Clean { TSW 01 } It indicates that its Tshwane ( Pretoria ) franchise number 1 Along with TSW 01 , each tag has a numeric number ascending from 001 – 999, these are used to identify the customer. There are 10 perforated tags per sheet. You will be required to indicate on the slip what cleaning method is required for the specific item , this is done by crossing out method not needed and circling the method the client would like. D – Dry Cleaning OR L – Laundry

What are tags and how do they work
Bidvest will strictly follow the instructions passed on to them. They will however , when applicable stop the cleaning process and call for confirmation before proceeding with set garment. This will only happen when items are obviously marked incorrectly. Responsibility and any Liability then falls onto the customer as he/she has given the go ahead.

How to use the tags Separate the tags from the slip.
Staple the Slip to your supplier invoice , this is done so that the tags can be traced to which Order ID it belongs. Tear off the amount of tags you plan on using , if there are 4 Trousers you would need to tear off 4 tags. The tags get folded in half and s-afety pinned onto a label or belt loops so that the trouser can be identified after the wash process. We use safety pins instead of using staples to protect the garment and to ensure the tag does not fall out during washing process.
7
How to use the tags If there are multiple laundry items please ensure all are tagged. When more than 10 items are to be tagged for a single client , simply assign multiple slips. Example : 5Kg Laundry could have 14 items So you would use Tsw 01 Slip numbers 001 and 002 , using all 10 tags for 001 and only 4 for 002 thus making it 14 tags used. It is not difficult to use the tagging system, but most definitely in my opinion the most vital part of the business.
