2. Climate
Rainforest’s are located in the north of South America, east Mexico, west Africa, south Asia, and northeast Australia. The rainforest gets an average of inches of rain per year! The temperature in a rainforest rarely gets higher than 93 °F (34 °C) or drops below 68 °F (20 °C); average humidity is between 77 and 88%. Rainforests cover less than 6% of Earth's land surface but produce 40% of Earth's oxygen! Because of all the rain in the rainforest the plants have thick-waxy leaves that don’t fall off to keep too much water from coming into the plants.
