One Laptop per Child (OLPC) is a project of the One Laptop per Child Association, Inc. One laptop per child - nonprofit organization Founded by Nicholas Negroponte (chairman) and Rodrigo Arboleda Halaby.

Laptop computer designed to be distributed to children in developing countries around the world, to provide them with access to knowledge, and opportunities to explore, experiment and express themselves they have spread to many countries now, Orders for these laptops come from here in america, asia, and middle east now. T The laptops are sold to governments and are distributed to schools, school boards, etc. and each child gets one laptop. Students get to keep the laptops, becomes their property.
