Summary

2 Definition

3 Amino acids to Proteins
Proteins are made up of smaller building blocks called amino acids, joined together in chains. There are 20 different amino acids. Some proteins are just a few amino acids long, while others are made up of several thousands. These chains of amino acids fold up in complex ways, giving each protein a unique 3D shape.

4 t RNA ?

5 Ribosome? Ribosomes consist of two major components: the small ribosomal subunit, which reads the RNA, and the large subunit, which joins amino acids to form a polypeptide chain. Each subunit is composed of one or more ribosomal RNA (rRNA) molecules and a variety of proteins. It has Three sites: P – E – A Two of them are active. The P site stands for peptidyl site The A site stands for the aminoacyl site (entry of t RNA)

6 Release factor? A release factor is a protein that allows for the termination of translation by recognizing the termination codon or stop codon in an mRNA sequence.
