1. When selecting wallcoverings the first variable to consider is the amount of traffic the area will receive.
2. Paper and natural wallcoverings are most appropriate where traffic is minimal. They are more delicate than their vinyl counterparts yet offer ample durability and a special style to a variety of placements.
3. Vinyl and synthetic textiles, with their maximum durability and ease of cleaning are especially appropriate for hospitals, sporting arenas, school’s and other high traffic situations.

6. Vinyl Wallcovering
Fabric backed vinyl wallcovering has a substrate laminated to a solid vinyl decorative surface.
Solid vinyl wallcovering consists of a vinyl film laminated to a fabric or paper substrate. It is generally considered more durable than fabric-backed or paper-backed vinyl because the vinyl is solid not applied in a liquid form.
Coated fabric wallcovering has a fabric substrate coated with liquid vinyl or acrylic. The decorative layer is printed on this coating. This is generally considered a wallcovering with breathable characteristics.

Digital printing of scanned sources onto virtually any substrate. Ideal for small quantities or creative. Generally, used as murals or borders. Construction involves printing of an unlimited amount of sources such as photos, high resolution images, prints, etc. from a computer onto virtually any substrate. Unlimited selection of colors, variety of creativity and frees the designer from traditional printing. Digitals are generally used as murals or borders.

Flexible presentation surfaces laminated to a vinyl capped substrate. They are commonly used as a writable or erasable wallcovering and/or projection surface and are available in colors.
