Muhammed was born in Mecca and lived a normal life as a merchant and trader until the age of 40. Muhammad was approached by Gabriel in a cave and became the messenger of God and prophet of Islam. Muhammad’s teachings were met with resistance and he was forced out of Mecca. Eventually he returned and established Islam in Mecca before dying.

Give details! A good ID answer should be between 4-6 sentences

8. Essay
All of your writing MUST BE THESIS BASED. I do not want a book report. Everything that you will write in this class be thesis based.
Students will be given a choice of prompts.
An essay response should be 4 paragraphs (Introduction, Thesis/Road Map, 3 bodies, no need for conclusion)
Use the “Tips for Essay Writing” Document that we went over at the beginning of the year.
