8. Absolute and relative educational inequalities in SRH
Across countries with similar probability of reporting poor health from lower educated and similar overall prevalence of poor health we observed variations in the magnitude of health inequalities. One such example is the group of countries consisting of Finland, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, France and Germany. In Spain, Czech Republic and Germany both absolute and relative inequalities where less pronounced than in Poland, Finland and France. Which means that under similar conditions the former countries health is more equally distributed across social positions.
