In New Jersey Borders Cherry Hill,10 Minutes from Philadelphia South Jersey Group II (1 Smallest – 5 Biggest) One of the smallest Group II Schools in the State of NJ Traditionally a High Achieving Academic School District A proud tradition in the CC Sports Playing Football Since 1893

3 Background on Haddonfield
In New Jersey In 2001 the Head Coaching Job Opened An assistant at HMHS for 4 Years prior to becoming our HC At 25 Years Old…I needed to convince our school that I was the right guy for the job! Needed to put together: A Philosophy, A System, A Program When you speak of those things I feel it implies that you have things all figured out… What was needed was some sort of a Success Plan!

4 The State Of Haddonfield
Football in 2001 Last Sectional/State Championship was in 1970 (Selected by Newspapers) Last Non-Shared Conference Title was in 1964 (Tied for Conference Championship in 1970, 1972, and 2001) We had 3 Playoff Appearances from 1974 to 2001 (Record: 2-3) We had 36 total players in our Youth Program Last State Final Appearance was in 1986

JV Play Game – Frosh Practice or Play in JV Game Varsity – Lift & Condition – Watch Film – Walk Thru 6 pm Coaching Staff Dinner and Staff Meeting Game Plan Meeting Consists of: Post Game Review Packet (During Dinner) Check our Team Goals from previous game Evaluate Personnel (88 Positions) Watch Film on Next Opponent Complete Tendency Sheets/Reports Scout Cards Practice Plans Player Personnel (Both Teams) Update Hudl Playlist Finish around 12:30 or 1:00 am… Monday

Tuesday Wednesday Practice from 3:45 to 6:15 Staff Meets to Revisit Game Plan Additional Film Study at Home Start to put together Game Plan Call Sheets Start to compose a Positional Checklist for players Finalize Tendency Reports Attend TD Club of SJ “Weekly Awards Dinners” Practice from 3:45 to 6:15 Staff Meets for Final Revisions of Game Plan Wide Man Wednesday Additional Film Study at Home Finish Game Plan Call Sheets Finish Positional Checklist for players Finalize Tendency Reports Finish Game Day Checklist

Program Organization In-Season (Sept. to Dec.) Thursday Friday Practice from 3:45 to 6:00 Walk Thru & Film if we play on Friday No Staff Meeting Attend Team Dinner (If we Play on Friday) Review Game Plan Call Sheets Review Tendency Reports Review Checklist (Mental Night) Post Specials, Itinerary, etc…in LR Frosh Play Game or Practice Varsity Reports for Game at 4:30 or has a light practice from 3 to 5:30 if we play on Saturday If we play on Saturday…Staff will go and scout a game 7 pm Game Time Call the newspapers if they are not at the game Attend 5th Quarter gathering

Saturday Sunday If play on Friday Players Report at 8 am Watch & Evaluate Game Film Players light run/conditioning Players finished by 10:15 am Staff to go scout game or begin work with Apex If we play on Saturday Report for game Team and Staff is Off - Re-charge Battery Family Day After Dinner Start Pre-Prep for next game Self Scout using Hudl Game Stats Watch Opponent Film Preliminary Scouting Report Starters Special Teams Defensive Alignments to our Offense Defensive Coordinator will do the same
