Please remember to read the book in your child’s Reading Envelope each night. Please sign and return to school the next day. They may read the same book 2 nights in a row.
Congrats to the students on finishing their Pink Bubble Gum Lists. Green lists will be coming home next week. Please keep this list at home to review with your child each night.
Our Learning
Math: Used pictures to write subtraction sentences, practiced solving vertical subtraction sentences
Reading: Focused on the ck spelling at the end of the words, introduced trick words or, for
Writing: Read the book “Me and My Dragon by our visiting author. Created a story of what students would do with their pet dragon and illustrated it.
Science: Focused on bats by creating a KWL chart, researched bats, created a bats can, bats have, and bats are graphic organizer. Labeled the parts of a bat and read Stellaluna.
