A home-made trap for blowflies is easy to make, using two 2-litre plastic drinks bottles, one clear and one brown. Offal is placed in the bottom of the brown bottle and cross cuts are made to allow the flies in. The flies will be trapped in the top clear bottle, from which they can be easily disposed of
