CEM Furniture Lock Security: -Non-copiable
Easy to use: ( New! ) – Contactless opening ( RFID) is opened when card is approached, no need to push Wireless connectivity with the gateway: can send information about the lock status or receive information about the authorized users. Autonomy: Battery operated Multiapplication: it is possible to use the same card with several applications, such as, access control, presence control… Straightforward installation Motorized lock. Less consumption than others.

1) User and authorization assignment
By approaching the card to the encoder, the Software will read the card’s UID (unique Identification number). Then it will assign this card (UID) to an user i.e. Sami Alakhras and will give them access to a given shop and drawer, for instance: Shop 1, drawer 3. -Then there is no need to encode the card. -No need to have a PC in each shop. 2) User and authorization data sending
Sami Alakhras is authorized to open drawer 3 in shop1 SHOP 1 SHOP 2 Main office PC SHOP 3 SHOP 4 IP NETWORK The user-authorization data report will be sent through the Ethernet network to the shop gateway. Then the gateway will inform the furniture lock wirelessly. SHOP 99 SHOP 100

3) User cancellation Sami Alakhras is no longer authorized to open drawer 3 in shop1 SHOP 1 SHOP 2 Main office PC SHOP 3 SHOP 4 IP NETWORK To cancel an user’s authorization to open a lock , data will be sent from the Main office software to the electronic lock not to allow opening with that card. 4) OPENING -Proximity opening: by approaching the RFID card to a reference point, the authorized user can open the drawer. For closing the drawer the user will repeat the same operation. * If the lock has low battery , the user cannot close the lock.

SUMMARY No need to have a PC on each shop , because cards are managed in the main office and then the data is send to the gateways in the shops. No need to encode cards , the software reads the UID and assigns to an user. The furniture lock is open and closed by approaching the card. Low battery information is sent to the main office from the shops. ( online maintenance)
