The UN General Assembly granted Palestine an observer status as a "non-state entity" at the UN The Palestinian people/government does not have full control or sovereignty over their territory Palestine: Nation… not a nation-state

Dome of the Rock sits on the Temple Mount…
Holiest site in Judaism, but important in Islam and Christianity too. Located in Jerusalem. Jews believe it was were God gathered dust to create Adam. It is the most contested/ argued over religious site in the world. Jesus protested authorities here which led to his crucifixion, also attended festivals here as a child

The Temple Mount, Jerusalem
Temple Mount contains sites holy to both Jews and Muslims, including the Western Wall of the Second Temple, al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Dome of the Rock.

Dome of the Rock Oldest existing site in Islam. Located in Jerusalem.
Very important to Muslims because they believe it is where Mohammad ascended to Heaven. Only Mecca is more holy.

Western Wall Dates back to 19 B.C.E
Also called the Wailing Wall (Wailing as in crying) because it is where Jews come to mourn the destruction of the Holy Temple that it was once a part of. Imagine touching a wall that was built over 2000 years ago!!!!
