TOPICS OF INTEREST – Challenge 6.1 – Call 6.1-2
InfoDay 2013, ENV Calls in FP7, 11 June 2012 TOPICS OF INTEREST – Challenge 6.1 – Call 6.1-2 ENV Land cover and land-use change and climate change mitigation Context : Carbon dynamics , soil C storage and atmospheric C emissions (COVs, CH4, CO2) We propose to predict the vulnerability of cropped ecosystem and peatlands facing land uses and/or climate changes by through C modeling and associated N-S elements Assess the impacts of long-term (> 15 years) organic waste disposals on soil organisms (diversity, structure communities and functions) Facilitate the biogeochemical processes induced by soil biota to compensate ecological impacts Modeling the above-belowground C fluxes by including biotic component Strategy Combining in-situ field measurements, experimental ecology, Ecological stoeckiometry and Modeling Interested in joining a consortium on the calls ENV / / 6.2-5 Unit track record in the field - European recent-past FP6 collaborative project (RECIPE), - on-going national ANR collaborative project (Peatwarm) ; member of the Peatland national network , - hosting a biogeochemical analysis platform (tracers, gaz spectrometry, OTC chambers… , - Access to instrumented fields in collaboration with INRA partners Contact :

Research experience and strengths
InfoDay 2013, ENV Calls in FP7, 11 June 2012 Research experience and strengths 5 collaborative projects within the EU Framework Programme (Recipe, Alter, Greenveines, Comparevol, Eurolimpacts), 2 within the Eranets ’Snowman’ & ‘Biodiversa’ (Sustain, Farmland), 16 on-going national collaborative projects (ANR, CNRS,FRB,…) 1 CNRS funded ‘International Associated Laboratory’ with Iowa State University (USA) Diverse European and International collaborations Annual budget: 1M€/year including 70% on research contracts > 100 publications/year including 30% in high profile journals (IF > 4) and 7% the highest top ranked journals (IF > 9, Science, PNAS, Ecology Letters, Ann. Rew., ...) Interested in joining a consortium on the calls ENV / / 6.2-5 We also have support for the set up and management of EU projects: from the University of Rennes’s Technology Transfer Office (43 FP6 and 60 FP7 projects). Thank you for you attention Contact :
