2. About IEPI
The Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative (IEPI) is a statewide collaborative effort to help advance the effective practices of the California Community Colleges and, in the process, significantly reduce the number of accreditation sanctions and state and federal audit issues.
Most importantly, IEPI will enhance the system’s ability to serve its students effectively and improve student success in measurable ways. An important focus of the initiative is to draw on the exceptional expertise and innovation that exists within the system in advancing effective practices and avoiding potential pitfalls.
The three primary components of the initiative are: a framework of indicators; professional development; and technical assistance.

3. Aspirational / Strategic Goals
The Framework of Indicators provides the opportunity for colleagues across all areas of the college and district community to engage in setting locally determined, short- and long-term aspirational goals in four areas:
student performance
fiscal viability
accreditation status
compliance with federal and state guidelines.

10. Accreditation Status
Fully Accredited – No Action: Status code denotes that a college was fully accredited and without Sanctions during the time period between ACCJC Comprehensive Visits and evaluations.

11. State and Federal guidelines compliance status
Independent audit opinion relating to state and federal award compliance and internal controls over state and federal programs.
“Unmodified” or “unqualified” findings with minimal or no material weaknesses or significant deficiencies.
