HISTORY The oldest parachute design appears in an anonymous manuscript from 1470s Renaissance Italy,showing a free hanging man clutching a cross bar frame attached to a conical canopy. More sophisticated parachute was sketched by the polymath Leonardo da Vinci. The scale of the parachute is more favorably proportion to the weight of the jumper.

Our changed variables For our experiment we chose to change the size of the canopies. We made one canopy with the size of height :25cm and width :25cm and another parachute with the height :10cm and width :25cm

Procedure We made the parachute of two different sizes
We did the dropping from the fifth floor to the third floor podium.

Conclusion So after doing the experiments we concluded that the larger parachute falls slower than the smaller parachute.

PROBLEM Towards the end of the experiment , it started to rain.
The wind was too strong and the parachutes is not at the direction that we want. The parachutes get wet because of the raining so it cannot control the direction. The timing of the timer could also affect the result of the parachute. Its possible that we might start the timer too early or too late
