Accommodations: Closed Captioning for Audio Content
Closed captioning (CC) for audio content is available as an accommodation for eligible DHH students with this accommodation documented on their IEPs or Section 504 Plans. CC is available to click in SIS and TDS for computer-based tests AVA is a user role assigned for paper-based tests in grades 4-10 ELA (PBT only). Transcripts will continue to be produced on a very limited basis for students who are: Hospital/Homebound with NO internet access Confined to a Department of Corrections facility

If TERMS indicated Y on A23 for AA, then students were defaulted to “P” (Performance Task) Students taking the Datafolio will need to be changed to “D” in SIS Blank = student taking FSA No students should have Z marked in SIS currently

PBT Accommodations: Need to Order
Accommodations are: A paper test for a subject area usually taken on the computer regular print or large print A reading passage book for grades A writing passage book for grades 8 – 10 Large Print version of the regular print version of a paper test Braille (contracted or uncontracted) One-Item-Per Page Note: Indicate in SIS and Platform

CBT Accommodations: Take Action in Platform
Computer-Based Accommodations are: Text to Speech Closed Captioning ASL Videos (PBT students need for ELA only) Masking Features either must be turned on (FSA through TIDE) or create a session (Pearson Access NEXT) Identify in SIS – work with ESE Contacts to enter under Test Accommodations tab (ESE tab will not PreID) Once identified in SIS, this will upload in PreID and turn on for you Caution: a CBT ELA test that student is taking on PBT, the student needs to have AVA selected and the administrator needs to have AVA role assigned Allows a PBT student to access the audio-visual clips Student enters response on PBT DO NOT have a PBT student log in to CBT test in order to access the audio-visual clips and enter PBT responses in the CBT.
