They were to be EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit.
They were to be WITNESSES of the person, life, ministry, miracles, sacrifice, resurrection, and salvation of Jesus Christ.

Sadducees The Sadducees were the white-collar, upper class religious group of society. Comprised of aristocrats, the Sadducees were politically involved among the wealthy. To them, only written law was authoritative, not oral tradition (law). They repudiated the doctrines of resurrection, the existence of angels, and a personal Messiah.

Auxiliaries/Ministries become entities within themselves, often becoming “churches” within the church!
