3. ETSI Work-in progress
First Special Report describes the operational and organizational requirements as a basis for a common E112 service, including caller location information.
Second Special Report will address the requirements for communications between authorities during emergencies. Inter-working between different authorities must be facilitated. The network availability must be guaranteed.
Third Special Report will address the requirements on communication from authorities to citizens during emergencies.
Co-operation between 3GPP and ETSI TISPAN on the specification of a Mobile Location Positioning protocol for the delivery to the Emergency Authority the position of a caller to the Emergency Services. This work is based on the LIForum/OMA work on MLP version
