Home Life: Adolf Hitler’s childhood was normal for a boy of his time.
Born on April 20, 1889, in small Austrian town of Braunau, at the border between Austria and Germany. He was his parents 4th child, and the first to live beyond the age of 2. The Hitler family led a comfortable, middle-class existence. -Lifestyle spiraled downward -Still no attempt to get regular employment -Wound up sleeping on park benches and begging for money -Became a dirty, smelly, unshaven young man wearing tattered clothes and did not even own an overcoat -December of 1909, freezing and half starved, he moved into a homeless shelter. -Ate at a soup kitchen operated by the nuns from a nearby convent.…..
