Problem: Lack of Awareness
Over 150,000 women and youth have never heard of taking out a loan or putting savings in a financial institution. This is not due to lack of interest or poor credit history, BUT, because THEY DO NOT KNOW THAT FULM exists. Start off by explaining to the group the problem/need that you have recognized in your community.
6
Proposed Solution: Spread Awareness
Develop a communication strategy for woman and youth that are financially excluded. Promote this communication strategy to increase access to traditional financial services (loans and savings.) What solution do you have to that community problem? How will your project help to alleviate/overcome the problem?
