3. General Library Procedures

4. General Library Procedures/ Rules
Library visitors must read, work or study quietly.

5. Book Check-Out
You will visit the library once every other week with your language arts teacher.
You are allowed to check out two books at a time.
Books are due in two weeks and may be re-checked once if the book has not been requested.

6. Book Check-Out Your language arts teacher may send you to check out
new books the
last fifteen
minutes of your
class time every day.

7. Play Aways
Play Aways may be checked out if you have turned in a form signed by your parents acknowledging that you are responsible for taking care of them.
Playaways are due back in 2 weeks and cannot be rechecked.

8. Overdue Books
If books are 30 days or more overdue, you will not be able to check out books until they are returned.
If a book or playaway is lost or damaged, you will have to pay the replacement cost.

9. Browsing For Books No shelf markers!
Please place books neatly back where they belong.
If you don’t know where to put a book, please place it on top of the shelf!

10. Always stamp your books after checking them out
Do not change the date on the stamp
The date should be
when the book is DUE (2 weeks from today)
