1 Molecularly Imprinted Polymer Thin Films and Microarrays Mingdi Yan, Department of Chemistry, Portland State University The objective of this project is to develop a new imprinting chemistry that leads to molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) thin films and microarrays. Results of batch binding and competitive binding studies indicated that these MIPs were not highly selective or specific (see below). We then carried out array studies where various imprinted and non-imprinted films were subjected to binding of different analytes. Initial results were promising. Future work will focus on array approach to increase detection specificity.
