My Philosophy is what I live by. I use it in everything that I do
My Philosophy is what I live by. I use it in everything that I do. On each slide are words that I use to help me reach my goal. In sports, it takes more than just determination to achieve your goal, it also takes teamwork. In education, to reach the standards that I set for myself, I have to remained focused and manage my time wisely. In the future, I plan to go to medical school. That journey requires sacrifice and dedication. Throughout all of this, my ultimate goal is to become the best doctor that I can be, but to reach that goal, I have to be willing to push through everything else. It also shows through my leadership. I use the path- goal theory through all of these in my leadership. Whether it is just myself or my teammates, I try to “motivate followers to accomplish designated goals” (Northouse 115). I not only want to accomplish my own goals, but I want to help others achieve theirs. I would also say I use authentic leadership style. Especially with the intrapersonal perspective of authenticity. My philosophy mainly ” focuses on [me] and what goes on within [myself]” (Northouse 196). It is always good to have a mission statement to live by, so how does your leadership style go along with your mission/philosophy statement?
