2. Context is the launch of ORT Psalm 18:6-14 - The Voice of the Lord Thunders
ORT is about the voice of the Lord. It is based upon Psalm 18:6-14 where the Psalmist cries out and the Lord responds with a voice like thunder that scatters the enemy. King David wrote Psalm 18, and it was King David who provides the best example of the kingdom of God in the OT. When David began building the kingdom, the elders of the nation gathered at the city of hebron intent on making one person king. Today there are people and leaders in cities across the nations who are gathering together with a desire to make Jesus king and bring back the presence of God in their city. This is what David and the people of Israel did in the city of David on Mount Zion. They brought the presence of God to a city by offering up continual prayer, praise and worship 24 hours per day. ORT provides a simple powerful strategy that empowers kingdom minded congregations to cooperate and work together in a city to establish a continual canopy of prayer, praise and worship. All it takes is one church willing to take one day.

6. ORT Based on CONECT – Massed Prayers Effect on Society
Growth of 24/7 prayer – NDP did not grow, GDOP grew very little but 24/7 exploded.
2007 – crime in every major city in WA declined with Seattle at a 40 year low (location of greatest concentration of 24/7) - according to FBI report
Reuters news service Sep 07 – WA state chief economist reports $281 mil. Tax surplus, 2005 to % job growth since 2005, economy growing at 3% a year and a housing economy that bucks the trend of the nation.
Church growth – Whatcom County was the least churched county in the US 2005 – today it is not. One church reports growth of 700 (church of County CONECTer) in 2007 & 50 new decisions for Christ 2 weeks ago with another local church of 140 reporting 12 new decisions & report of revival breaking out in Blaine during & immediately following ORT in 2007 for 6 weeks.

8. Transformation Task Force Defined
People united with a duty to transform society. They are responsible to pray for God’s kingdom to come with a mandate to present the gospel of the kingdom to their assigned area.

The TTF is a force of people who have united with a duty to transform their society. They are responsible to pray that God’s kingdom come and will be done on earth as it is in heaven and they have a mandate to present the gospel of the kingdom to their assigned territory whether it be a city, county, state or nation.

Education, healthcare, family
Reports all go to County CONECTer
