19 Committee Contribution
Each committee is responsible for accomplishing the goals set out by the board. Each standing committee presents a report at our quarterly meetings. Committees may propose new initiatives for consideration by the full board.

20 Committee Contribution
Successful committees are collaborations between members. They should be where our new ideas come from. Strong committees are the building blocks for a strong board.

21 Your Committee Contribution
Committee chairs will develop consensus in their committees on how to achieve goals. Each member should be given a role to play. If you aren’t given a role, or don’t understand a process, talk to your chair. Understand that your ideas are valued, even if they aren’t always adopted.
