Commissioners Recruitment
The commission hopes to recruit 12 new commissioners, in addition to 4 councillors and up to 4 co-opted positions. The Commission would particularly like to attract more young people and people from the business community. People from other sectors and of all ages are welcome to apply

Answer the application questions
What is driving you to become a Race Equality Commissioner? (maximum 300 words) With reference to the role, skills and person specification give details of your relevant professional and personal experience, networks and skills (maximum 300 words) Give an example of when have you conceived a new idea and was able to lead a project through to the finish and what were the results you achieved. Please give any example from a work, personal or social perspective. (maximum 300 words). Based on your understanding of the role of the Commission, how will you take on the challenge of being a Commissioner? (maximum 300 words)

Shortlisting and interviews
Applications will be shortlisted by the interview panel of four members of the BAME communities in Bristol. Interviews will take place with the panel of four in the week commencing 20th November. Interviews will last apporximatley 30 minutes.
