You will need your binders – This will begin the notes in the Dance section

2. Rize
While watching the movie, take notes on the following (remember to use Cornell style)
What is the history of the dance(s) shown? Why did they come about?
What is the purpose of the dance(s). Why are they important?
How did one dance evolve into another (others)?
What do the dances look like? How do dancers use the space around them? There bodies? Movements?
These notes will be the first part of your binder check. You will be able to use them on the test…better notes = better chances for an “A”
