2. Jofemar, A company, with several decades of experience in the vending industry, offers the J-130 card reader as the ideal payment complement to the coin mechanism and currency validator in vending machines.
The J-130 is a reliable and versatile card reader that not only facilitates products acquisition without the necessity for cash, but can also aid in the machines programming, data acquisition, and personalization of the machines.

3. Cards and key distribution
The J-130 card reader is programmed to work with “Smart” keys and cards distributed by Jofemar.
In this way, a closed payment system is created for only the cards distributed and programmed by a licensed system.
This system will allow an unlimited amount of card users and a total of controlled cards, restricted to the machines programmed by the operator to accept those cards.

Payment System: The J-130 provides the machine with cashless collection ability and credit storage that can be recharged by inserting cash into the coin changer or bill validator. It can also be used to provide discounts or promotions, designate advantages to various groups of customers, and/or provide for payroll deductions

Purchases: The card use makes multi-purchases faster and eliminates the problem having no available cash or no change of large bills. This convenience will also stimulate additional sales that would not occur in a cash only machine.
Discounts: By allowing the machine to sell products at a discount for card purchases, additional sales will be stimulated and the collections will be made prior to their use. In some cases card credit value will never be redeemed.

8. Credit Recharge To The Card: Adding credit to the card can be made by any of the following methods:
By coins or currency in the vending machine
Direct PC transfer through payroll deduction.
By printed promotional ticket/coupon from another machine or outside source. €

Coin mechanisms and machines programming system: Without doubt, one of the card readers most practical functions is the ability to program the machines from the PC software. The desired machine configuration can be downloaded directly onto a card reader or a 32K data card that can be introduced to the machine through the card reader.
The card reader management software for PC, allows for the creation of a configurations data base which can store all of the configurations that have been established. €

Prices programming: Pricing and price increases can be accomplished from the comfort of a office PC, downloaded onto a card and then programmed into the machines by route personnel or technical service personnel by merely inserting the card into the card reader. This operation occurs in seconds with maximum reliability and security. €

The Mother card reader kit (Code ) provides access to the management software and can be connected to any PC. This kit is composed of:
Desktop Interface Box: The Jofemar interface box provides for a card reader/recorder and includes all system connection ports.
License For Use: To provide for the security of the client with exclusive privacy, a “Smart” card is enclosed with the license recorded code, without which access to the use of the equipment is denied.

20. Programming Kit
There are two different PC software programs that will allow the card readers the following working modes:
Control Cards: Contains all the necessary tools to program card readers and effective cards for users of the machines
Vending Track Lite: A powerful management and accounting software for vending machine groups, which allows for the creation of machine databases and gather all the information the machines have stored, as well as to access to all machine programming options and clone machines.
Both programs are opened with the same license.
