7 What’s Going On? When you blow into the Sound Sandwich
Day 3 Elaborate 6 What’s Going On? When you blow into the Sound Sandwich you make the large rubber band vibrate that vibration produces the sound. When you moved the straw spacers closer together you shortened the part of the rubber bands that can vibrate so the sound was different, it had a higher pitch. When you moved the straw spacers further apart you made the rubber band longer so it vibrated differently so the sound was different, it had a lower pitch.
