1 Let’s start at where we left out just now
Let’s start at where we left out just now. To draw another door on the side, let’s first find the middle of the right side of the box. X

2 X Step 1: connect opposite corners to determine the middle of the rectangle.

3 X Step 2: draw a vertical line straight through the intersection down to the bottom edge of the rectangle.

4 Now you got the middle point of the right side of the house
Now you got the middle point of the right side of the house. The next few steps will tell you how to do make the two doors the same size. X

5 Step 3: Extend the top edge of the front door, to get it intersect the edge of the right side of the house. X

6 X Step 4: Connect the intersection you just got to the VP.

7 X Step 4: Connect the intersection you just got to the VP.
Now, any vertical lines in between this line and the bottom edge of the receding side represents the same height in real world. X Step 4: Connect the intersection you just got to the VP.

8 X Step 4: Darken a short section on perspective line (green) that is a little bit shorter than the width of the front door (red).

9 This gives you an approximate way to make sure that the two doors the same width. You’ll get to learn more on this in the future. For now, you just need to gauge by eyes to make the green section a bit shorter than the red line. Plus, always remember to use your experience from the real world to help your with your drawing! X Step 4: Darken a short section on perspective line (green) that is a little bit shorter than the width of the front door (red).

10 X Step 5: Draw two vertical lines down to the bottom edge as the two sides of the door.

11 X Step 6: Clean up lines that you don’t need.
