Way forward #1 Discussion with stakeholders: Content of the text of the EP & Council Regulation: discussion steered by the BSDG; other high level groups consulted Input from ESSNet projects Data structure: discussions in technical groups on the individual packages > Eurostat will consolidate the data requirements to ensure consistency across domains Methodological arrangements: experts preparing a draft and then discussions at relevant technical groups Technical arrangements for the exchange of micro-data: outcomes from SIMSTAT project Further consultation with other Commission DGs and ECB The ESS Committee supervises the process Commission proposal: beginning 2015 Science Technology Innovation Statistics November 2012
