Fisrt period Start: 2 minute video on the basics of why this is important. Reading about eclipses. Alternate 4 minute video.
Second period Start: Chasing the eclipse with Fighter Jets reading article.
Teachers’ choice- Quick write response / questioning the text/ RAFT
Third period Start: Sun pizza. How far away is it? Pg
Fourth Period start- make a pinhole viewer with plain white paper or card stock. Review the safety.
Last 10 minutes of the day go observe the event.
