2. Writer’s Warm-up Grab your Writer’s Notebooks for the following warm-up:
Imagine waking up on a subway train in a major city. But you have no idea how you got there. You can’t remember anything about yourself (parents, home, name, etc.). You don’t know where you are. You don’t have any belongings with you except for a book titled Walden by Henry David Thoreau. What would you do? Where will you go? How are you going to survive? Write a well developed short story that explains what you would do. The goal is to put as much writing as possible on the page. Read silently when you are done.
