3 Common/proper and concrete/abstract.

4 Underline main verb. The boys stood on one side of the gym, and the girls stood on the other side. Meet me at Little Caesar’s for lunch. We could have walked the entire way.

5 Tell me if the main verb is ACTION or LINKING (STATE OF BEING).
They both excel in math. _________ Eat only a reasonable amount of candy. _________ Spartans are an elite group of students. _________

6 Tell me what the adjectives are, and tell me what word they modify.
