In 1905, about 100,000 Russians meet outside the Tsar’s Winter Palace in St. Petersburg
They asked for Nicholas II to appear so he could be presented with a petition

Stolypin creates quick military trials for suspected terrorists
Those guilty are hung; thousands die
Stolypin is assassinated in 1911
