Bacon’s Rebellion Virginia’s governor was William Berkeley
He attempted to keep the peace between the new settlers and the Native Americans The main problem arose when Nathaniel Bacon attacked the wrong tribe Bacon made continuous trouble.

So why was there a rebellion?
Bacon and Berkeley were constantly at odds over the treatment of Native Americans Bacon was able to get a band of rebels together and surrounded the state house forcing Berkeley to give up his position Jamestown was burned to the ground and Bacon died of disease

Popé’s Rebellion Back to the southwest
The Spanish had colonies in New Mexico The Pueblo’s were forced to convert to Christianity and were basically slaves to the Spanish Popé was able to unite Taos Pueblo people and fight the Spanish back to Mexico
